The Education Unit oversees and assists staff in the design, development, maintenance, and evaluation of the Otago Medical School MB ChB curriculum on the Christchurch campus. The Unit also supports staff professional development and represents the Christchurch ALM programme on various subcommittees of the Medical Curriculum Committee.
The Unit is headed up by the Associate Dean Medical Education (ADME) and includes an Education Adviser, eLearning Co-ordinator, media production support, and administrative staff.
The Education Unit also hosts the MB ChB Programme Director, Professor Tim Wilkinson.
