for 1999. We are sorry that this issue has been so long in coming,
but we know that you will enjoy what we have to offer this year, especially
the literature (fiction and non-fiction), poetry and art . And while
this year has been a busy and tulmultuous year for those in the editorial
team, we hope you will return next year to see Deepsouth enter a new phase
of production and quality. Until then, we hope you enjoy this issue,
