Background
Esther graduated from Midlands State University, Zimbabwe, with a BSc Honours in Human Resource Management, and a Master of Business Administration. She worked for the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority as a Human Resource Specialist for 3 years before coming to New Zealand. In 2011, she entered the Management Department's post graduate diploma programme at the University of Otago, and was instantly fascinated by the diversity of research being conducted by different researchers, and the way it incorporated interdisciplinary approaches. These qualities reflect the diverse cultural, academic and practical backgrounds of the department's staff and students.
Esther graduated with her MCom in 2014. Her topic was "What strategies do managers of Aged Care Institutions engage to support quality service delivery provided by migrant care workers?"
