The University's Centre for Protein Research
The Centre for Protein Research (CPR) is a research facility for biological mass spectrometry with a focus on proteomics and recently established capabilities in metabolomics. The facility is part of the Research Infrastructure Centre within the Division of Health Sciences of the University of Otago.
We provide versatile workflows for:
- Global and targeted quantitative proteomics (eg SWATH-MS, iTRAQ, SILAC, AQUA etc),
- The characterization of proteins and their post translational modifications,
- Native and denaturing intact protein mass spectrometry
- The analysis of metabolites and other small molecules
We offer a service facility and a user laboratory that supports research and student projects within the University of Otago. We also provide service analyses for customers throughout New Zealand.
