Inaugural Professorial Lecture – Professor James Stanley
Science and Sensibility
Professor James Stanley is a biostatistician whose research spans from understanding how racism impacts on health through to studying cancer risk factors and outcomes in Aotearoa New Zealand.
In his inaugural professorial lecture, James will talk about how people tried to understand the science of health before the advent of modern statistics, and why we need statistical tools now to help answer health research questions.
