Tony Johnson awarded top Australasian forestry industry award

Otago BSc (Applied Chemistry) graduate Tony Johnson has been awarded the Appita L R Benjamin Medal awarded annually to encourage technical excellence, innovation and achievement in the pulp and paper industry. The contribution can be in research, development, engineering or management, and Tony is internationally-recognised for his work in water conservation and innovation in pulp mill design.

Clare Wilson wins top honours at David Awards for small business

Clare Wilson's business The Block Dock was named 2022 Winner of the Supreme Award in the New Zealand David Awards, which recognise small and micro businesses. She also won the Solo Meo category which recognises single-person businesses.
