Dr Lisa Te Morenga, EDOR researcher and senior lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington, has been awarded the Royal Society Te Apārangi Hamilton Award.
The Royal Society 2019 Research Honours Awards Aotearoa was held in Dunedin on Thursday 17 October. Dr Te Morenga was recognised for her contribution to international evidence-based nutrition policy, stemming from her research examining the impact of dietary sugars on body weight
Dr Moana Theodore, also an EDOR member, was co-host of the event.
