Today is Sneaker Friday and the Edgar Diabetes and Obesity Research Centre (EDOR) at the University of Otago is supporting this Diabetes NZ event to raise awareness for the many New Zealanders living with diabetes.

The Postgraduate Nursing Centre at UOC wore all sorts of sneakers - sequins, zebra print, glitter, ribbons, lace, star wars, the comfiest sneakers on the planet and sneakers for a good cause (where for every pair of sneakers you buy, a pair is donated to a school). Awesome!
Wan Alwi from the University of Otago Property Services Division found it so hard to choose which sneakers to wear for Sneaker Friday, he has taken four of his favourites to work and will switch them up every time he goes to a meeting. Now that's dedication!
This lab bubble in the Pharmacology and Toxicology department, University of Otago, were rocking some colorful sneakers, lab coats, and gumboots(!) in support of Sneaker Friday today.
