The Christchurch Campus

The University of Otago, Christchurch campus focuses on the teaching of undergraduate medical students, postgraduate health science students and postgraduate research students. Postgraduate health science students are mainly made up of nurses undertaking postgraduate study.

The University collaborates closely with the Canterbury District Health Board, the region's hospitals, general practitioners and other health and community agencies. A diverse range of research groups, many with international reputations are based on the campus, including:
