Scheduled Outage: CRSM Enhancements Release – Service Management Framework

Timeframe: Friday 9 August 2024, 6:00pm  - Sunday 11 August 2024, 8:00pm

Services Affected:  CRSM - Microsoft Dynamics (CRSM), AskOtago Service Portal

Audience: All users of the above applications

Description: Changes are being made to the CRSM system to improve services to students and staff, provide visibility of service requests from initiation to completion, and enhanced data for reporting and audit purposes. These changes will take effect from 12 August 2024.

The most noticeable changes will be to the AskOtago Portal.  This is where you can go to raise service requests and see updates from the teams that are working to resolve your requests.  When a service request is updated with information for you, or you need to provide approval for a request from one of your staff, you will receive an email notification with a link to your request in the portal. The AskOtago portal has also been reconfigured to provide better access to the repository of forms and knowledgebase articles that support self-service.

To support a successful go live there will be an outage affecting the AskOtago Portal (including chat), as well as access to the knowledgebase from 6pm on Friday 9 August to 8pm on Sunday 11 August 2024. During this outage emails will not be processed; if you require urgent assistance during this time, please call AskOtago 0800 80 80 98.
