Licensing restricts off-campus access to electronic resources to University of Otago staff and students only. All current staff on the payroll and students (including Foundation Year and Language Centre Students) automatically have access to Library E-resources and do not need to complete this form.
Access to electronic resources for University visitors, both academic and student, is not permitted.
Staff not on the University payroll who have a non-OU staff external University username are required to:
- be listed in the University Calendar staff listing, or will be listed in the year following their appointment, or
- attach the signed and authorised agreement from their Head of Department, Dean or Pro Vice-Chancellor that they are engaged to provide teaching, clinical supervision or research services to the University, and
- complete the Library E-Resources Request form
