One of the many great things about coming out of Covid-19 lockdown and returning to campus is the opportunity to meet students face-to-face again.
The Biochemistry Department welcomed students starting their biochemistry journey this week with an informal lunchtime function in the newly refitted department seminar room.
This is an annual opportunity for students who are majoring in biochemistry to meet their lecturers and talk to others who have recently graduated from the same degree.
Head of department Professor Sally McCormick introduced herself and staff present to the crowd and then everyone mingled over the pizza and fruit provided.
