Research focus
Minami Yoshida is a MSc BIOE student from Japan who is currently writing two technical papers for submission (having received a bursary from Otago University) on her research project entitled, ”Intervertebral Disc Tissue Engineering: An Investigation of Chitosan/PCL Scaffolds using 3D-printing and Melt-electrowriting Technology.”
During her postgraduate study she also conducted a 3D bioprinting workshop and is looking to further investigate the potential of these technologies towards the treatment of damaged intervertebral discs.
