Business School Student Exchange scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to students accepted into the Student Exchange programme.
Westpac Travelling Scholarships
The scholarship is awarded to students studying for degrees and diplomas within the Otago Business School who have been accepted for the University's exchange programmes in a school on the current Approved Exchange Partners List and who show a capacity for leadership and responsibility in business, community or educational affairs. The level of award can be up to $3,000.

University of Otago scholarships
The University of Otago has a wide range of scholarships available for students of all levels including Entrance Scholarships, scholarships for undergraduate students, coursework postgraduate students, research master's students, PhD students, and international students.
In addition there are also scholarships and travel grants available for research and conference travel, plus awards for high achieveing Otago students to continue their studies at prestigious international Universities.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) – Myanmar Postgraduate Scholarship
The New Zealand Aid Programme offers scholarships to people from Myanmar who are motivated to make a difference at home in the areas of:
- Argicultural development
- Renewable energy
- Disaster risk management
- Public sector management
- Private sector development
- English language teaching (TESOL)
Students should intend to complete one of the qualifications listed below:
- Postgraduate Certificate (6 months)
- Postgraduate Diploma (1 year)
- Masters Degree (1–2 years)
- PhD (up to 3.5 years)
