The Centre for Sustainability is currently advertising a 3 year PhD Scholarship to study earthquake-related legislation in lower seismic hazard zones.
The scholarship is funded by the New Zealand Earthquake Commission and will be hosted at the Centre for Sustainability, University of Otago.
The research team is seeking an applied, interdisciplinary research candidate with exceptional communication skills to join a dynamic research team. Prior research, policy or planning experience will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will join a supportive, engaged and dynamic interdisciplinary team of hazards scientists and practitioners, including doctoral students working in related fields.
