Towards earthquake resilience in low seismic risk zones in New Zealand: assessing efficacy and implementation of legislatures
New Zealand remains under the continuous risk of hazardous earthquakes and it put threat to both natural and built environment. However, the risks are not equally spread across New Zealand due to the geological characteristics; distance from the plate boundary some parts of New Zealand are more at risk than others. During her study period she will assess efficacy and implementation of the current earthquake related policy and legislature especially for low seismic zones.
