Paula is a PhD student at the Centre for Sustainability. She is part of the Sociology program. Her main focus is on ecological agriculture, alternative ways of farming and the connection between farmers and non-human actors. Paula was born in the south of Chile and holds a Sociology degree and a Master's in Human Development at a local and regional scale.

Beyond boundaries: property, sustainability, and small farms
Paula's research studies how property boundaries are developed in today's agriculture that seeks to be more ecological and how non-human actors affect the definition of these limits in Aotearoa New Zealand.
