Research focus

Mahdi is researching mild and moderate traumatic brain injury in patients with the aim of improving pathways from acute to tertiary and community services.

He is supervised by Associate Professor Deborah Snell of the Department and Professor John Pickering, both of the University of Otago, as well as Dr Martin Than, Emergency Medicine Specialist, of the Canterbury District Health Board.
