The Simulation Centre are looking for SMO/RMOs to assist on an unpaid, casual basis with clinical skills teaching sessions at the Centre.
Volunteers are not primarily responsible for the teaching sessions but contribute to an increased tutor to student ratio. This means we can provide a higher quality of learning opportunity for the students through greater direct observation and feedback.
Anyone who would like to help with this kind of teaching will:
- be offered an orientation to the Centre and models/equipment; and
- be provided with written resources to support their teaching
We maintain a database which records the contributions of each individual RMO and can provide letters outlining teaching experience and contribution which can accompany future job applicatio
Email the Simulation Centre to request further information, register your interest or volunteer for any particular session/s.
