Dr Nathan Monk completed his PhD on the Christchurch Health and Development Study in 2023. Since then, he has worked in Māori/Indigenous Health Innovation, and has recently re-joined the Department of Psychological Medicine as a Research Fellow.
Nathan’s current work investigates physical health inequities for Māori experiencing psychosis, and the epidemiology of psychosis. His broader research interests also include quantitative psychopathology, complex systems, and the psychosocial determinants of health.
