Geoff is an intensive care specialist and Professor of Intensive Care at the University of Otago, Christchurch and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Canterbury.

He is also the first clinician to be made an honorary fellow of the Institute of Professional Engineers of New Zealand.

  • Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in critically ill patients
