Lyn joined the team at the UOC Simulation Centre in April 2018.

She is a Consultant Emergency Physician at Christchurch Hospital since 2016. She works both in the Emergency Department and in the University of Otago Simulation Centre as a senior lecturer.

She finished her medical training in Aberdeen, Scotland in 2003 where she worked until moving to Christchurch in 2006.

Lyn has a keen interest in medical education and is heavily involved in both departmental and interdepartmental simulation within the hospital setting.

She regularly instructs medical and nursing staff on a number of courses including CORE, PROMPT and Emergency Trauma Management and is a co-founder of the Christchurch Emergency Fellowship Exam Preparation course .
