Overview
We are investigating how the enzyme myeloperoxidase kills bacteria but also promotes tissue damage in numerous inflammatory diseases including cystic fibrosis, IBD, rheumatoid arthritis and cancer.
This is one of a number of projects on offer for the 2024 intake of BBiomedSc(Hons) at the University of Otago, Christchurch campus.
