The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the University's highest level supervised research degree. Our Faculty can supervise a broad range of PhD topics in the field of performance measurement and management. The basic requirement for admission to the PhD programme is a Bachelor's degree with first or upper second class honours or equivalent (including a research component), a Master's degree (including an appropriate research component), or appropriate research experience.

A variety of funding opportunities are available to provide financial assistance to students. Our University arguably provides the most plentiful and some of the most generous scholarships available. Further funding sources include New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships, New Zealand Aid Programme Scholarships, and Commonwealth Scholarships.
