The Management Department's HRM team is looking for enthusiastic students to join their research projects. Topics of special interest are strategic HRM (SHRM), green HRM, employee wellbeing, technology in HRM, international HRM (IHRM), talent management, and employee innovative and creative behaviour.
Prospective students will ideally have a sound understanding of the HRM and Employment Relations literatures as well as the research process. Their degree (Master's, Honours, other Postgrad qualification) should contain a research component, and they should be proficient in using quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies.
Students interested in studying in the area of HRM will work primarily with Professor Fiona Edgar, Associate Professor Annie Zhang, and Drs Paula O'Kane and Dana Ott, who have expertise in the topics listed above. Their past students are now employed in a variety of settings including academia, with roles ranging from lecturing to managing a residential college.
