Overview
The UOC Respiratory Medicine Research Group engage in respiratory research across a wide range of topics in respiratory medicine and physiology. We have active projects investigating bronchiectasis, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. We are currently active in projects in New Zealand and internationally. We have strong links to other University of Otago groups including the Christchurch Heart Institute, the Centre for International Health, One Health Aotearoa and The Infection Group, as well as the Canterbury District Health Board affiliated Canterbury Respiratory Research Group. We are interested in hearing from potential PhD students who are interested in engaging in existing projects and those who come with new ideas.
