Rebekah was involved in the Breathing and Educational Achievement and Readiness (BEAR) study, which is a longitudinal study looking at sleep-related breathing problems in New Zealand children. Her PhD study examined changes in snoring and sleep disordered breathing (SDB) symptoms in children from age 3 to 7, and investigated the relationship between SDB and children's academic performance. Rebekah was supervised by Research Associate Professor Barbara Galland from the Department of Women's and Children's Health, and Dr Elizabeth Schaughency from the Department of Psychology.
Rebekah completed her PhD in November 2014, and is currently a Research Fellow at the Assessment Research Centre, University of Melbourne.
