Ecology is arguably the most significant subject you could study at university
Ecology is the study of plants and animals in relation to their environment and with each other
Climate change and a predicted world population of 9 billion later this century will disrupt life-sustaining ecosystems and put immense pressure on food and water supplies.
The world needs ecologists now, and even more so in the future.
Graduates are employed by a variety of government departments, agencies and organisations, including the Department of Conservation, in private industry as environmental officers, or in the expanding areas of environmental and cultural impact assessments.
