Leon completed his honours degree at Otago in 2016. He is interested primarily in housing economics, specifically, price dynamics and drivers of neighbourhood change. His PhD research focuses the development of price index methods and their application in New Zealand. Leon also manages a small portfolio of properties in Dunedin and, when tired of figuring out why other people renovate their homes, works on renovating his own.
