This is an opportunity for Careers leaders, STAR and GATEWAY Coordinators, Administrators who are involved in pathways/ careers education to meet and build onto their careers information and practices. This is a joint initiative with the involvement of a Careers NZ consultant.
We support schools by:
- Providing professional development in a range of careers and learning pathways
- Developing schools' responsiveness to the needs of students in learning pathways and careers education by offering current information and activities related to students' future study and employment
- Helping those involved in the careers education area to reflect and complement their skills
This will be achieved by:
- Working in a flexible cluster with other schools in the region
- Sharing information, resources and practices to support the development of pathways careers education opportunities for our students
