Gifted and talented education in Aotearoa New Zealand: Identifying factorsassociated with successful programmes in primary and intermediate schools.
Abstract
The project investigates gifted and talented education in primary and intermediate schools in Aotearoa New Zealand. There are two phases to the project – a survey phase and an interview phase. The primary purpose of the project is to identify factors that contribute to successful programmes that currently exist for gifted and talented learners in primary and intermediate schools in Aotearoa New Zealand, and how teachers are meeting the social, emotional, and learning needs of gifted and talented students.
