Biography

I have been a teacher and educator for 25+ years. I graduated from the Dunedin College of Education in 1996. Over this time I have had the privilege of working as a teacher, syndicate leader and associate principal in local Dunedin primary schools.  Alongside these roles I have always loved working in teacher professional learning.  I have worked with teachers in primary and secondary schools across Otago and Southland as an ICTPD facilitator, College lecturer and an e-learning and assessment advisor.

In 2019, I was excited to be seconded back to the College of Education, to work as a professional practice fellow.  In 2021, this position was made permanent.  It is a career highlight getting to work with our future generation of 'superstar' teachers!
