Students who have completed a BA Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in the subject at a satisfactory level (normally A- or above) are welcome to apply for the research MA.
Please note that the following requirements are internal to the English Programme. You must also formally apply to undertake a research MA (Thesis).

Making an application
All students interested in undertaking a research MA (by thesis) in English at Otago must complete the simple online information sheet below. Please ensure you have carefully read the instructions and information on the supporting web pages before submitting your form. The information that you enter will be reviewed by our Director of Graduate Studies. Please note that we are unable to respond to all inquiries due to the volume that we receive.
