2009 Tionol: 26th-29th March, Nutwood Wild Gardens, Hope, Nelson.
Another grand Tionol, with a change of venue and format. Teaching this year was undertaken by local pipers Sean Connolly and Greg Waite. Murray Jackson provided his usual reedmaking and maintenance services for pipers. This year we used Robin and Susan's Barn as our nerve centre, with pipers staying in beds or improvised sleeping quarters in various parts of their house and garage, and the barn itself. Attendance was up, with sixteen pipers on site.
