Campus Watch are a great source of help and encouragement for problems in your flat or street. They'll even share their favourite recipes!
OUSA will provide support for flatting issues such as problems with the landlord, flatmates wanting to move out, budgeting and hardship issues (not enough money) at:

Take part in organised sport
Get in touch with your previous College to see if they run Alumni teams. There may also be other opportunities, such as mentoring or becoming a CCL (Collegiate Community Leader).
Volunteering
