Professor Margreet Vissers was invited to speak about the latest vitamin C research at the Cancer Society's Living with and beyond cancer workshop in Greymouth on Saturday 13 April 2019.
The workshop was organised by the Canterbury West Coast Division of the Cancer Society to help people with cancer and their family/whanau to navigate through their cancer experience by moving the focus from cancer as an acute illness to a greater focus on recovery, health and well-being after treatment.
Professor Vissers was one of eight presenters on the day and spoke for 30 minutes about 'Vitamin C - the latest research'.
Professor Vissers was also invited to attend a clinical teaching session at Grey Hospital on Friday 12 April 2019 and gave a presentation on 'Vitamin C – what's the fuss?'.
