Sport is an important aspect of life at Caroline Freeman College. Whether you want a casual game of table tennis or pick-up basketball or a full-on game of Inter-Collegiate rugby CFC can provide the opportunity.
The College has a huge range of “in-house” sporting competitions in such events as table tennis, 8-ball, foosball, basketball, volleyball, netball and others. These events are played with a great sense of camaraderie and collegial spirit and participation levels are very high.
In addition to traditional sports we also have “in-house” competitions in such diverse events as puzzle-making, trivia, 8-ball, Scrabble, portrait painting, poetry and much more.
As well as our “in-house” events CFC competes with enthusiasm against the other Otago colleges in the Inter-Collegiate competition. The “Fighting Flamingos” are involved in all the IC sporting events including basketball, netball, football, cricket, rugby, touch.
