Postgraduate Study in Secondary Education

Use your existing degree to teach.

If you already have a degree, you could become a teacher with the one-year Master of Teaching and Learning (MTchgLn) programme.

Secondary Education at Otago

The Secondary Education programme builds on the knowledge you have acquired in your initial degree studies, and is designed to develop understanding, skills and values that allow you to implement innovative and effective teaching practices in New Zealand secondary schools.

On completion of the programme, students will be qualified to teach in secondary schools throughout New Zealand and in most overseas countries.

Secondary Education is an endorsement (specialisation) option for the Master of Teaching and Learning (MTchgLn).
