Postgraduate professional and researcher development web portal
The portal provides information on workshops and events run by the Graduate Research School, and lists offerings from other providers across the University including the Graduate Wellbeing Coach, HEDC, ITS, Career Development Centre, International Office and more.
Resources on Blackboard
Doctoral and master's thesis candidates have Blackboard websites that host a range of workshop material and online resources to support all parts of the research journey.
Statistics and Research
Postgraduate students carrying out quantitative research are encouraged to consider enrolling in one of the following papers.
- STAT 501 Statistical Modelling in Research. The aim of the paper is to provide you with the key statistical tools needed in collecting and analysing data.

Writing for Publication in the Social Sciences
Postgraduate students in the Social Sciences should consider enrolling for the paper EDUC 464 Writing Journal Articles for Publication The aim of the paper is to provide guidance and feedback through the stages of writing one journal article so that it is ready for submission to a journal at the end of the paper.

The Graduate Research Committee has oversight of graduate research processes and policies.
