Galactic justice quest: Designing a fair society on a new planet
Could we design a 'just' society on a new planet without knowing who we might be when we arrive?
Through interactive group work, thought experiments, and discussions, students will delve into the world of political decision-making, designing a society on a distant Earth-like planet that will (hopefully) be fair and equal. At the end of the week, a fun experiment will take place in which the group will test their simulated society with brand-new identities to see just how fair their new world is.
