Technology-Enhanced Learning and Teaching (TELT): Academic development programme
Teaching and learning online presents university teachers and students with unique challenges that are rarely encountered in face-to-face settings. The TELT academic development programme at HEDC is a series of workshops aimed at helping teaching staff and students to be successful in online spaces as follows:
For teachers: Workshops on the instructional and technological strategies to be successful in engaging students online, for example, through self-directed game-based quizzes, interactive video-based learning, critical online discussion, interactive lectures, social media, flipped learning, and online instructional design.
For students: Workshops on planning and managing self-directed learning in online spaces.
