Manages financial and accounting activities within the University. Provides long term financial planning services to senior management, including evaluations for strategic business plans. Ensures statutory requirements are met. Ensures consistent financial reporting policies and procedures. Sets strategy, direction and objectives within the organisation; formulates, administers and reviews policy and legislation to ensure organisational and departmental objectives are met; directs and co-ordinates the allocation of assets and resources; and manages work activities, either personally or through senior subordinate staff.
