Position
Clinical Tutors carry out clinical teaching in undergraduate teaching clinics and clinical service when required, either in small groups or one-on-one, to facilitate the learning of practical/technical skills.
Expectations
Teaching, assessment and curriculum development
It is expected that Clinical Tutors:
- carry out clinical teaching in undergraduate teaching clinics and clinical service when required, either in small groups or one-on-one, to facilitate the learning of practical/technical skills.
Service to the University and the community
It is expected that Clinical Tutors:
- share knowledge with and contributing to the community
- contribute to administration in their Department or School
Other
It is expected that Clinical Tutors:
- meet all compliance and reporting requirements
- work collegially with staff and students in the Department
Professional Practice is expected.
Research is not expected.

Requirements
- A Professional Clinical Qualification.
- Usually overseen by a senior academic staff member.

Salary scale
Clinical Tutors may be appointed at any salary level in academic general, medical or dental salary scales or ranges but any salary paid must coincide with a point on a University Salary Scale.
