Academic Leadership Development Programme
The Academic Leadership Development Programme offers a range of leadership and management workshops, activities and resources that are available to:
- current and prospective academic leaders in roles such as Head of Department / School / Programme, Director of Centre, and Associate Dean; and
- academic staff managing staff or holding roles such as Course Convenor / Chair of Committee.
In addition, some activities in the programme are jointly offered with Learning and Development and are open to all academic and professional staff.

Higher Education Development Centre (HEDC)
The Higher Education Development Centre works in partnership with the staff and students of the University to promote, support and enhance the ideals, knowledge and values of higher education.
The HEDC provides a wide range of opportunities for the professional development of academic staff. This includes support, such as one-on-one consultancies to improve aspects of teaching, as well as more formal staff development workshops and postgraduate courses on tertiary teaching.

Te Tiriti Responsiveness
