Schedule Outage: High Capacity Storage (HCS)
Timeframe: Friday, 28th June 2024, 9.00 AM - Sunday, 30th June 2024, 6.00 PM
Services Affected: All High Capacity Storage (HCS) shares and services. While we do not have an extensive list some known systems that will be impacted are:
- eVision
- Anatomy FLOSS
- Podcasting
- Jira & Confluence
- Student Desktop
- All HCS shares excluding those hosted within Wellington and Christchurch
- Corporate & Python Applications including ITS corporate applications
- Business Objects (During this period, if there are scheduled requests they may need to be checked and rescheduled)
Audience: All Staff and Students
Description: From 9am on Friday 28th June 2024 onwards there will be periods of up to 6 hours where HCS will be unavailable, different shares and applications will be impacted at different times however all services are expected to be returned to full service by 6pm on Sunday 30th June. In some cases, you may need to restart your device to re-establish a connection to the failover cluster. Please note the following systems will not be impacted:
- Blackboard
- StarRez
- OIM
