Language papers
The German programme offers a range of language papers at different levels. If you are a beginner or have done only very little German, you can enrol in GERM 101. For all other papers we need to look at your level of German to make sure that you are in the right course. The easiest way of doing this is to take a short placement test (Einstufungstest) and to have a talk with the programme coordinator, Associate Professor Antonie Alm. Please contact her (email antonie.alm@otago.ac.nz) after you have taken the test. The numbers in brackets relate to the score of the placement test.
You can enrol in 100-level German through Victoria University of Wellington.
