Alex currently teaches part of the Property Law course as well as the Media Law elective paper.
Research interests
Alex's research interests lie generally in the areas of media law, legal theory, and law and global governance.
Background
Before joining the Faculty in 2020 Alex practised as a solicitor, litigating media and intellectual property related issues in Sydney, Australia, after completing his LLM at NYU Law on a Fulbright scholarship. Alex was also a Judge's clerk in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of New Zealand, following his undergraduate study in law and politics at Otago University.
