	ARTSTOR Digital Library Artstore contains collections of high-quality images, curated from leading museums and archives around the world. Artstor's diverse collections are rights-cleared for education and research, and include Open Access content as well as rare materials not available elsewhere.
	Digital National Security Archive (ProQuest) Contains declassified government documents covering critical world events, countries, and U.S. policy decisions from post World War II through the 21st century.
	Heritage Images Online An online database that contains photographs and maps from Auckland Libraries’ Sir George Grey Special Collections. The database covers a wide range of topics including family history, portraits, architecture, advertising, photographers, maritime history, fashion, sports and the history of Auckland and New Zealand.
	National Library of New Zealand Images Collection A database of images from the collections of the National Library of New Zealand.
	New Zealand Electronic Text Collection (NZETC) A collection of significant New Zealand and Pacific Island texts and materials held by Victoria University of Wellington Library. This encompasses both digitised heritage material and born-digital resources.
	Otago University Research Heritage Explore images of pictures and photographs from University of Otago collections.
	Oxford Art Online Covers all aspects of the visual arts worldwide – from prehistory to the present day. As well as art images, the database includes the following cross-searchable resources: Grove Art Online, Benezit Dictionary of Artists, The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and The Oxford Companion to Western Art.
	Te Ara - Encyclopedia of New Zealand A comprehensive guide to the country’s peoples, natural environment, history, culture, economy, institutions and society. Hosted by the Ministry for Culture and Heritage.
	Te Papa Collections Online Contains information on artworks, objects and specimens from Te Papa's collections, from dinosaur teeth to contemporary art, as well as information on people, places, topics, species, and research from the curators.

	Anatomy.TV (Primal Pictures) Anatomy.TV is only available to Wellington campus users. An online anatomy reference with access to three-dimensional animations that illustrate accurate anatomical function, biomechanics, and movement, as well as treatments and surgical procedures. Note: Library subscription is for 15 simultaneous users, please use the log off button when exiting.
	Arts & Culture (Google) Google Arts & Culture is an online platform of high-resolution images and videos of artworks and cultural artifacts from partner cultural organisations throughout the world.
	Early Experiences in Australasia: Primary Sources and Personal Narratives 1788-1901 (Alexander Street) Through first-person accounts, including letters, diaries, narratives, and other primary source materials, this collection provides a view of events in Australasia from the arrival of the first settlers through to the close of the 19th century.
	Encyclopaedia Britannica Online (Britannica Academic) Contains the text of the print edition plus thousands of additional articles and images, natural-language searching, and A-Z browsing. Britannica Online is continually updated to provide the most current information possible.
	Europeana Europeana provides cultural heritage students, professionals, teachers, and researchers with free digital access to European cultural heritage material. The site includes cultural heritage material from over 4,000 different institutions, giving access to millions of cultural heritage items from across Europe. Discover artworks, books, music, and videos on art, newspapers, archaeology, fashion, science, sport, and more. Includes a small amount of New Zealand content in image, text, sound and video format.
	JSTOR Global Plants A community-contributed database of digitized plant specimens.
	Optics ImageBank Browse and search across images from OSA’s core journals hosted on OSA’s Digital Library, OSA Publishing. Using this database you may view a full-size image of a figure and export images into PowerPoint or PDF files.
	Photography: The World Through the Lens (NCCO) A collection of photographs, photograph albums, photographically illustrated books and texts on the early history of photography from libraries and archives from across the globe. This resource serves multiple disciplines and supports a range of research and study topics.
