The Otago University Review 1888-1971 was edited by Kevin Jones and Brent Southgate, and funded by the profits from sales of James K. Baxter’s Jerusalem Sonnets. The Review, with the photograph supplied by Hardwicke Knight, stands as one of the few examples that carry the Bibliography Room imprint even though it was printed by the local firm of John McIndoe Ltd. Dr Maslen has a particular memory of this work; he left the name of Dan Davin, one of the many contributors, off the front cover. Davin, himself the ‘Printer to the Delegates of the Oxford University Press, forgave Maslen for the slip.
