Invitations to banquets and sherry parties, and a rather sophisticated advertisement for a garage sale were more of the ephemeral printing jobs done on the presses. Importantly, the use of the facilities by groups such as the Alliance Française and the University of Otago Press helped develop a strong base of local support for the activities of the Bibliography Room.
